Philippines-India Business Council Signs an Exclusive MOU with PHARMEXCIL at the IPHEX 2019
The Philippines-India Business Council proudly signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL) – India’s apex organization for pharmaceutical promotion, during the annual iPHEX Show and Expo held in Ahmedabad, India from June 10 to 12, 2019.
The delegates for the event composed of manufacturers, distributors, importers, drug regulators, pharmaceutical associations, business chambers, government agencies, and international journalists.
This newly forged partnership will enable both organizations to promote the exchange, cooperation, and trade for the development of the pharmaceutical and health product industries in both countries. The MOU was signed by Mr. Johnny Chotrani, Chairman of PIBC and Mr. Ravi Uday Bhaskar, Director General of PHARMEXCIL India.
PIBC also witnessed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which was signed between the Philippine Pharma Procurement, Inc. (PPPI) And PHARMEXCIL India.
This partnership revival of the two organizations will enable PPPI to further its organization’s goals and responsibilities of procuring, sourcing and marketing of quality, accessible, and low-priced drugs for the Filipino Citizens.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Jose Capistrano, President, and CEO of the PPPI and Mr. Ravi Uday Bhaskar, Director General of PHARMEXCIL India.
PIBC looks forward to closer collaboration between the two countries on the above, as it strives to serve as the bridge between the Philippines and India.
