Philippines-India Business Council hosts Philippines-India Business Brief in partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Philippines-India Business Council (PIBC) together with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosted the Philippines-India Business Brief at Shangri-La Hotel, Makati, Philippines last October 18, 2019.
Mr. Johnny Chotrani, Chairman of PIBC, welcomed the guests and panel speakers for the business brief. He highlighted the role of PIBC in promoting and growing bilateral relations between India and the Philippines.
Other esteemed guests such as Ms. Alegria Limjoco, the President of PCCI; Mr. George Barcelon, Chairman of PCCI and Member of ASEAN-BAC (Philippines); and Mr. Vivek Singhal, CEO of GMR Constructions, gave their special remarks.
The business brief included distinguished panel speakers who shared insights on the topic of their respective expertise. Ms. Joyce Alumno, President of Healthcore International, enlightened the guests on the status quo of the Philippine Healthcare Industry; Dr. Jose P. Leviste Jr., Chairman of AG&P, discussed about LNG Infrastructure; Gov. Roberto Pagdanganan, Chairman of Medicines Transparency Alliance Philippines, expounded on the Pharmaceutical Industry in the Philippines; and lastly, Ms. Famida Alonto, Chief of Innovation of Insular Life, expressed her knowledge on Innovation and Start-ups in the Philippines.
The business brief also served as a networking opportunity for all attendees.
